On Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th July our highly anticipated Supa Hack @ Old Truman Brewery went dowwwwn! And as far as spectacularly awesome and incredibly wirey supa events weekend’s go, this one was pretty damn good!
Over the entire weekend the venue was jam packed with stalls, vendors, exhibitors of all kinds selling handmade garments, delicious home-cooked food, luxury hair and beauty products and much, much more. As anyone knows if they’ve ever been through this part of town, Shoreditch is home an incredibly wide variety of people, many of whom bounded excitedly into to the Supa Hack and were fixated by the live music on stage.
Provided by ThisisWired, the acoustic live sets served as a perfect backdrop for the adventurous customers perusing the goods between the isles and settling down for a bite to eat and drink to gulp, sheltered from the rain on a typical British summer weekend.
From midday on Saturday we played host to an incredible line up including Nicola Thoms, Joshua Kyeot, Sharon Rose, Hayley Roscoe and Robert T Wilson. Our Saturday headliner Lady Leshurr got everyone joining into her set with a cackle and a laugh at some of her signature Leshurr lines! Sunday upped music antics as Coldabank, J.Appiah, Ben Murphie, DJ D-CodeandDJKay47 hit the stage. Last but not least we had the stunning and soul stirring Delilah deliver a touching performance that left us awestruck with her unique vocals.
Over the two day craze were other mini events, from the silent auction to live streams and panel discussions with the music industry’s finest, as well as the digital hack with young developers and talented techies behind the scenes and interviews led by our very own Supa Partners. Get a load of the on-camera action with the videos that we’ll be uploading onto our ThisIsWired YouTube Channel very shortly.
Other partners got stuck into the merchandising, event programming, photography, social media, marketing and PR around the event, giving them some solid hands-on experience; one of the main aims of the Supa Hack.
